Sound
Revelation 4C produces a strong sound core for a deep, warm and fat sound with very good response and resonance for best results in various measuring ranges except for classical music. For classic music, I recommend SST neck mod. Dragonfly.
Revelation is designed to produce a dark and soft sound with metallic sheen above the tone known as 'sizzling'. This warm, metallic sheen is very important for various areas of music such as pop, funk, soul etc. but also for jazz.

Why 2 different Revelation models?
The Revelation models are based on the old MVI necks from Selmer Paris. Selmer has designed different necks in the course of history of the MVI saxophone. There are necks that cover more the field of pop saxophonists and there are necks that cover more the field of jazz saxophonists. Both Revelation models allow players to focus more individually on one or the other sound concept.
